Auctions Like No Other

Welcome to a unique type of Auction Bidding. Learn how it works.

We think once you do, you will be more than ready for some real fun and excitement!

Start by reading About TriggerBid.

Read these to understand how TriggerBid is different than other boring Auction websites and review the hypothetical Auction examples to gain great insight on how having more Bidders drives down the cost of bids and why…

The More We Grow, The Lower Bids Go!

Right Up Front...

Number one we will be totally honest with how these auctions work so don’t bail until you get a complete understanding.

Bids are NOT free...

Yes, that is correct – your bids are not free… you load a virtual wallet to use for your bidding.

But HOLD on – please keep reading.

Bids are secret, Until they're not...

Only bidders are aware of what they are bidding until the Countdown Timer Starts the Auction Closing Process… more on that later.

Each Auction Item has a Preset Secret Target...

A Virtual Target is set for each Auction… Auctions have no “SET” finish time, hitting the target is what “Triggers” the Start of the Auction’s Countdown Timer

Each Auction has a Virtual Fund...

Every bidder’s last bid is added to a Virtual Fund for each auction – this Fund’s total accumulates as bids occur. It starts with the initial bid and then, if you increase your bid, the amount of the increase is added to the fund.

e.g. 1st bid is $0.10 so a dime is deducted from your wallet, then you increase your bid to $0.15 so another $0.05 is deducted from your wallet.

When vfund >= vtarget the Trigger Fires...

When the Virual Fund is equal to or more than the Virtual Target it Triggers a Countdown Timer to Start the Auction Closing.

Highest Bids are now displayed...

Once the Countdown Timer starts closing the Auction, the Highest Bid of the Overall Auction wil be publically displayed to all bidders. Previously Bidders were unaware of any other Bidder’s Bids.

When Timer Runs Out...

If the Countdown Timer runs down without any new bids, the Auction will close and the Bidder who was the first to make the Highest Bid will be the winner of the Auction item.

Winner Information is posted

When the Auction is closed and the Winner identified – the Auction will be marked as CLOSED and their Initials along with the amount of the Bid will be posted to the Auction.
